Clearing out my workshop and I've a few Eleven bits someone may be interested in. 3.9 Midget standard Diff Metro Radiator (new) which allows a good cooling upgrade I recall documenting on here some time ago. Pair of front brake calipers Standard factory a...

Well that was quick! A little over a week on Car and Classic and sold to a dealer from Belgium. Workshop looks a little empty now...

Re: Roll over bar
I had the same dilemma when I decided to race my Eleven. Almost gave up until I got to speak with the technical director of the MSA at the motorsport show. He asked me to sketch what I had in mind and and said I wouldn't have any problems and if I did to refer the scrutineer to him. In practice scru...

Re: Ok, so why an A series?
I was fortunate that the parts I bought included a bellhousing to take a Ford gearbox. Otherwise you'd want to look out for a Toyota T50 'box, but they are very scarce now.

Re: Time to sell, sadly. A good 10 years!
Thanks Ben. Trust you are well. Glad the "old" A series is providing entertainment! I'll hopefully go back to racing some time in the future but right now it eats too much of my pension to be sustainable. The MG will be a rebuild into "usable" condition. Definitely not concours! Will keep it as orig...

Time to sell, sadly. A good 10 years!
After 10 years of use and abuse I am going to sell my Eleven. I've been pretty much everywhere in it and done everything I want including 5 season of racing. Time to move on. Any guidance on an asking price? I'm thinking just under £20k as a starter. If anyone is interested drop me a PM and I can se...

Re: Ok, so why an A series?
I'm enjoying the Toyota 4AGE in mine. Old enough that it doesn't look out of place. Compact and light. Durable and tune able. A little over 160HP at 7000 rpm. But perhaps a little too much for the road as I was reminded when taking it for its MoT yesterday. You do have to keep your wits about you wh...

Re: Wind Noise
We can still get 155 x 15 tyres readily in the UK so I'd plan to use that size. Or maybe 165s on the rear if I have the room. We'll see when or if I put it back on the road!
