Jon - I'll start one if you start one!

Build threads!

What dastardly plans are you up to? When is the chassis coming, how much are all the C&G shiny bits etc etc? We want news! Is Santa going to need a forklift at your house?

Forklift?

I doubt that very much! I will do so, once I have something to show. Unless you’d like to see pic of my gearbox?! :D

Plan A is a very slow burner, and I have yet to sell my car, so not much news. And CG shiny is beyond my meagre budget. I am contemplating selling a kidney to invest the proceeds in Bitcoin, though!

So, you go first!

For sure now is not the best time to sell, we had sideways rain today!
I'm in a similar position, trying to free off my motor using diesel down the bores, before whipping it out. I am curious as to how expensive the Crosthwaite bits were though....

The CG prices are offered on application. They are not cheap, but I would expect the quality to reflect that.

If you want to gain insight, I’d recommend joining the HLR. I found their magazine fascinating!

Let's just say, in the finest Rolls Royce tradition, that it is currently reluctant to proceed... ;)

I have picked up a Nash Metropolitan rear axle line that. Wondering how to proceed... if I had a bathtub full of warm PlusGas, it would go in that. After me! :P

No just a bit fat, a bad back, and an arthritic thumb, for 47 I'm not doing too badly... ;)

Thought about a bath full of molasses diluted with water? No I'm not joking, google it! Get the molasses from farm stores, they feed it to horses....

Molasses! Who’d have thought it? Might try painting a solution on the axle, rather than immersion. I do have a couple of suitable plastic barrels here I could press into service temporarily, though... :)
