Eleven kit prices

Post by Chris59 »

Hello guys,

I would like to know the prices (in GBP please) asked for an Eleven kit in, saying, 1984 or 85 : if one have an old invoice showing this kind of details, could you please share this information ?

If it's a scanned copy of an old invoice, I recommend you to hide the owner name and frame number, nobody need to know this information ;)

Cheers !

CHRIS
I have the Westfield Pricelist / Order Form for my car which is chassis number 123 , probably delivered
around 1985 , unfortunately it isn't dated . There is no chassis number quoted and the only unique to my
car details are hand written references to the colours , BRG Red / White , I presume this is the body and
the trim colours . Another handwritten reference " Delivered Crowboro " , Unable to locate Crowboro , it
Could be an abbreviation for Crowborough .

Prices shown are :-
Stage 1 £2084.00
Stage 2 £2526.00
Additional :-
Head fairing + roll over bar £ 96.00
Side lights + indicators £ 52.00
Exh. manifold + silencer £ 47.00
Petrol tank + cap £ 62.00
Wiring loom £ 48.00

Hand written entry shows the Stage 2 kit plus the additional items listed totaled at £2831.00 plus VAT at 15%

I can if you wish scan the original list and email it , you will then see a list of the contents of stage 1 and stage 2
kits and the hand written entries for my particular car .

I purchased my car unbuilt in 2010 from about the third owner , he had owned it for some 15 years and it took
some 3 days to clear a way through for me to get the kit and associated items out of his garage .

I will add that the car that I highlighted that is to go to auction on the 4th of March looks to be a good starting
point for a project ! !

Cheers , Bob Whittaker .

Hello Bob,

Many thanks, your replies show the continuous prices increase during the years of production, so, it shouldn't be difficult, after some research, to date your own invoice.

I'll give you my email adress by pm, for a scanned copy, thanks.

About "stage 1" and "stage 2", do you know what it mean ?

Cheers,

Chris.

I haven't received a pm from you . However if you have a copy of " Westfield -The Story " on its way
this will give you what you want in hard copy on pages 32 and 36 . Not only that there is a lot of good
stuff on the early Westfield Elevens ( Plus everything else up to publishing date ) every owner should
have a copy .
If you wish give me a call 01200445209 .

Bob, okay, it seems that the private message function do not work, it must be the reason why I've never had a reply to any of the pms I sent via this forum :?

I won't try to call you : writing English correctly is not easy, but speaking is another matter.

Have you ever heard a Spanish cow speaking English ? Well, it wasn't a cow, it was me.....

Cheers !
