Anyone thinking of going to classics on the common at Harpenden, near Luton, on Wednesday 26th? It's a fabulous event starting from about 3 pm until about 8:30 or so. There are usually both Lotus and Westfield elevens to see plus many hundreds of other interesting cars and bikes (mainly cars).
Anyone fancy saying hello and maybe having a pint?
Cheers Tim

Luton is a bit too far for me to get to at a sensible time from the office, I am afraid.
I've already got Monday (Wedding Anniversary) and Friday (Silverstone Classic) off next week and a local Westfield Sports Car Club group meeting on Thursday evening as well!

Weather now supposed to be dry from 1600 but doesn't help for the drive over!
I'll take the tintop, snap a few pics and report back!
Cheers Tim

Camera went dead! Weather was a bit damp but not too bad....
Only one eleven, the light blue Lotus that is a regular, and a slightly lower attendance than usual. Still worth going to see a genuine blower Bentley amongst other rarities!
