It's been a while!

Post by Chris Todd »

I start with an apology, I have been a member of this site for many years but an not a regular to say the least.
I think the last time I logged on was in 2022!
My apologies.
Tonight I had a little time and thought I would check out to see if the site was still active. With people like me it wouldn't be!
I bought my Eleven back in 2006 and apart from rebuilds it is used on a regular basis down here in Surrey.
It is a regular visitor to Brands and I often park by the tunnel entrance.
I will keep a watchful eye for any events or rendezvous in my area, such as London to Brighton.
I do remember sending a photo for the register a while back, I guess its on this site somewhere.
The car is still the same although the potholes have caused a few cracks on the fibreglass, but thats what happens if you use it a lot.
Best wishes to fellow owners.

Welcome back Chris.

I took my XI on the London to Brighton run this year, covering the 250 mile round trip from South Hertfordshire during the day.

Needless to say mine was the only XI on the run. Next year we could double it to two 🥳.

I will look out for the date. I took the Eleven to Seaford on Drive it Day earlier this year.

Hi Chris,

Great to hear from you. Fabulous that your car is used on such a regular basis. Hopefully we will be able to join one of the FB group’s arranged meets in the near future. The site is ticking along, and I have some changes in the pipeline that I hope will improve the navigation here. I have created the sub-forums already, visible to me, but will need to back up the database and do some forum maintenance to get it all swapped about.

Cheers

Jon
