Merry Christmas, Folks. I hope that you are all enjoying the Festive/Holiday season wherever you are.
Very soon there will be some maintenance on the forum required. The PHP version this runs on is coming to the end of life. Security patched will no longer be applied soon, so I will need to update the PHP version. It should go reasonably smoothly, but I will be making sure that a database back up is made and kept safe. The admins will also be able to see the array of sub-folders already created but hidden. I have hoped to get the technical subjects sorted into sections for a while.
Additionally, I wanted to add a section covering IVA. There is a wealth of experience here that would be great to capture. I downloaded the IVA Manual and was in the process of flicking through it. A Good-Reader edited pdf version, pulling out all the irrelevant pages, should make for easier reading.
Cheers

Thank you for all your good work keeping this forum running. I expect many of us take it for granted, but all the hard work goes on beneath the surface.
Wishing you and the other members a happy festive period, and many happy (but not too frustrating) hours getting the cars ready for the next season.

Re: Merry Christmas and some forum news
Forum software has now been updated. A bit of a bind, but got there in the end. Please let me know if you find any glitches, or attached images missing etc.
Next step in the following weeks is to re-jig the board forums slightly.
Cheers
EDIT - attachments didn’t make it. I’ll FTP the backup back up tomorrow.

Re: Merry Christmas and some forum news
I’ve just completed a forum update I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I’ve broken out technical threads into their sections, and left general tech chit-chat in the main tech forum. Hopefully this will make browsing the topics easier. I was amazed at some of the tech knowledge and advice contained in our archives. I’d encourage everyone to have a look back through them! How time flies when you’re having fun!
Please let me know if there are any topics mis-filed.
Enjoy!
