Fibreglass front end? Lot of money for a car with no original chassis number methinks…..

I tend to agree. It’s a classic (heh) example of an original car spawning two after a crash. Which is the original? Which has the continuous history?
Probably a nice thing in itself, and at least some of the chassis came from London. Glass fibre panels reduce the value. A new body is around £50k, when I asked Geoff Moss. Vic knows his stuff, of course, and so does Graham Caple, but £100k? Nope, far too rich for today’s market.

Chance to get a cheap "original". The auction market is so soft at the moment, I've heard Bonhams aren't doing FOS this year.

It is a reconstructed classic, technically. Nothing wrong with that, but the car with the continuous history is in Japan (according to the blurb). The rest of the photos with the registration docs make interesting reading. It’s a nice car, and I’d love to have it - but not at that money!
