Westfield Elevens

Very frustratingly, no! Nor will I it be at Halfpenny Green on the 22nd of this. The plan there is to put up a 20-ship “80” formation (ten aeroplanes in each digit, with two whips (who fly above to check the spacing) and a camera ship.

I was due to take part in both formations. But the rebuild of our engine, which began in September after we discovered an 18 inch crack in one of the crankcase halves, is STILL not complete. It’s due to be bench run this week………..

What a shame, but great that it's back together. I hope the test runs goes well.

Somewhat of an opportunity for increased business for westy pattern part suppliers in the UK now I would have thought…! Unless they re-establish a UK online parts store…

From what I've heard, they are already speaking with potential UK agents.
