The rod caps and rods are numbered to match the rod to the cap. i.e. #1 rod cap should be on #1 rod. Since all the rods are the same, it doesn't matter which hole they go into. The rod assemblies are not "matched" to a cylinder.

Once the rods are resized (big end caps shortened and the big end rebored to spec with the new bolts), balanced, and new pistons are fitted, it really doesn't matter which holes the assembled rods go into.

All the rods are the same, especially after they have been "blueprinted" for a race engine. Each rod faces in a specific direction when fitted. The number on the rod is not important as to the cylinder number.

You don't have a problem at all. Install the engine and enjoy it. DON''T TAKE IT APART.

" ER LÄUFT!!! " (it runs)
Started up the engine today. Had difficult time getting it started. ( Ig.-timing was way off )
Once it ran, it roard! Two ten minute runs at 1500-2000 rpm, to set the new cam.

one question, is there scope in your front suspension setup to dial out the positive camber or is it intentional?

It is possible to change the camber on my car. The "positive camber" on the picture is due to the picture (wide-angle lens)
