Dimensions

Post by stricor »

Am going to pick up my westfield body parts in Uk on saturday.
What are the approximate dimensions of the front nose part and the rear?
lengthxwidthxheight so i can determine if they fit in the car.
Would be great if i do not have to bring the trailer.

thanks Cor

How big is your car?

They wont fit in anything less than a van - they are fairly big items.

They should easily fit. They wont be boxed up so bring covers and lay the bonnet on top of the rear section.

I expect someone will be along later with dimensions for you though

I managed to squeeze a body into a peugeot partner with the seats folded flat, it was a tight squeeze and the body had to be a bit contorted but it got in, and im pretty sure i could close the boot!

The body is pretty large. 154 cm wide (60 in) for the bonnet, which is about as long as it is wide.

The scuttle is the same width, and about 50 cm deep, and about another 50 cm in height with the windshield attached, as mine was shipped.

The rear body panel is about 100 cm in length, and about 76 cm deep at the top of the fin.

I hope you have an American sized van, or one tall enough to stand the panels up on end.

All measurements are approximate, as the body of my car currently resides in the living room. Fitting is scheduled for next week or so.

Note that the bonnet is sort of square in dimensions. About 5ftX5ft.
