Important: Website and Forum downtime

With almost no notice, the telco that house the webserver have announced that the IP address assignment for this website is changing. This means that there will be a period of downtime whilst the new address propagates around the nets DNS servers. In theory, this could take up to 48 hours, in practice resolution tends settle down after about 24 hours or so.

Apologies for the inconvenience!

Update: The change is due to be made today, May 2nd, so the site will become inaccessible at some point in the next 24 hours.

Its a poor show from the Telco- at this late stage with so little notice, there is nothing that can be done to mitigate the downtime.

Edited to say: Telco now say they will bounce from old address to new for a while, so that should help minimize any disruption. (Its not a poor show anymore!)

Transfer appears to have been done today. There were a few hours where access to the site was variable but hopefully its all settled down now and we won't have to go through that again.
