Refinishing Glassfibre bodywork

Hi All,

To pick the collective brain:

A mate of a mate has a CCC Challenger kit car that is in need of fully bodyshell refinishing. Sounds like a sand-back (to matting??) and repaint. Anyone know anything about this, have any recommendations either way, or soem top tips for me to pass on, please?
