Yes Mallock Mk 5 1965 the other known Mk 5 is in Luxembourg.
The car ran in 1000cc clubman's class in the 60's it won races, a Mk5 won the championship that year but was outdated by the Mk 6.
I hope it will now run in the Classic Clubman's Class C, engine now 1300 Midget so should have respectable performance and not be far off the pace of B class with formula Ford engines at least till the corners! as it won't run slicks and wings. It could run in the 750 trophy formula with smaller engine.
Sorry to hijack you post Charles All the best

A friend raced one in vintage events, powered by an 1800 MG engine. The thing was giving Corvettes fits. Very fast, even on skinny tires.
I would love to acquire a Mallock, and I have looked at a couple. Maybe someday... I do like yours with the skinny tires
Really nice car! Enjoy.

Bugger! upside down. How on earth can I rectify this with my limited IT abilities? I'll give it a try.

And now?
That is me and Charles, and his XI+Toyota engine for those who don't know either of us.

Got there eventually Jack! I'll put some photo's up shortly with more detail.
Now have the propshaft back & adaptor. All looks as if it will fit. Even clear the handbrake maybe.
Also managed to get the laptop to talk to the ECU - a big deal apparently!
Need to pipe up the fuel system, weld up and fit the exhaust, then do the wiring.
Easy!
Than crank it over to get oil pressure. See if I have a spark with the base ECU settings. Once there's a spark and the injectors are doing something I feel safe taking it to the rolling road.
And get to Ben to buy his XV type bonnet bulge that I'm going to need.
Can't believe it's over year since I last raced. Missing it a lot.
