Normally a bah humbug but....

Post by biggles »

HAPPY XMAS EVERYONE!

Apart from Jonners, who is clearly spending his lottery win on large boxes from Crosthwaite and Gardiner, but is curiously reluctant to tell us all about it  ,anyone getting any nice blatting related bits from Santa?

With a non-driving wife (who has been in the Eleven once and pronounced that she prefers a car with a roof) nothing is ever naturally forthcoming. I tend to get Machine Mart / Screwfix vouchers from my sons which are excellent for keeping on top of the tool / sundries stocks.

Sadly, Christmas Day is looking like being mild and damp (and therefore the roads will remain filthy) so the toybox will remain unopened tomorrow and no swift runs out in the cars for me! I do, at least, have a co-driver's ride in a Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 on a rally on Friday to look forward to being out of the house for.

Seasons Greetings everyone.

Have been negotiating with Santa for a whole bunch of blatt parts flying in formation. Wood and alloy coachwork, V8... Maybe soon...
And a new Sedan for my Wife and 3 year old daughter.

Weather is a little cool, but clear and, well, Southern California dry. The fires are subsiding and the air is a bit better, so maybe I may be able to take out the 11.
Fortunately, none of the local canyons burned.

Oh, seeing as you asked so nicely, Tim... :D

A spanner, new torque wrench, another SC/CR gearset in the NY, tickets for the Silverstone Classic, and a leave bid in for the Castle Combe classic to boot. Plus six months subs to Octane and 2018 membership of the HLR.

Finally, a set of Splat, Mooch and Ken voodoo dolls for the next track or hillclimb day... :D

Merry Christmas, All!

Pardon?? I have a (helical-cut) contingency! ;)

Ha ha! Nice work, Splat! Uniform standards poh-leese will be onto you! :D

Nothing at all wrong with the first set I had... just Project X developments... (shhhh).

Anyway, when are we getting together in ‘18?
